n Francisco Charter:

has been acclaimed as a great docu-
that will free the world.

& vote for it in the U.S. Senate was

l unanimous.

e San Francisco Charter has he

tial of creating a super world gov-
ment able to fort ee its will on all un-
ing members.

Tn some ways the making of the San

necisco Charter is akin 6 the mak-
f the Constitution of the United
es which was begun more than one
dred fifty years ago.

When the delegates met to AO the

stitution of the United States they

ented thirteen separate states.

eir purpose was to set up a govern-

through which they could wage
ensive warfare collectively against
outside dangers, while at the same

retaining the several sovereign
ntities of each state.

The main purpose of the San. Fran-

Charter is for the nations of the
d collectively to wage warfare. It

poses to prevent war by waging war.
Since there is no outside foe capable

s

Vaging any major war, it is obvious -

nv warfare engaged in by the rul-

this super eovernment would be
tits own members, just as the war.

1861 to 1865 was a war between the
ral Government and some of the
ber states.

Shai a inievoect that Constitution
line by line and word for word. This in-
terpretation is still going on. Our U.S.
Constitution is still being formed by
court intrepretation.

The Supreme Court, of course, inter-
preted the Constitution as the members
of the Supreme Court understood the

language of the Constitution. As Euro-
pean minded judges come on our Su-

- preme Court they are giving Kuropean
versions of the meaning of the language

in our Constitution and going far afield
from the meaning our American fore-
fathers gave to the same language.

Different members of the Supreme

Court have as many different ideas of
what the Constitution means as did the
members of the Constitutional Conven-
tion.

The result is that the Constitution,
in so far as its meaning is concerned, is
entirely a different document today to
what it was at the time it was signed by
the delegates to the Constitutional Con-
vention.

Those states whieh thought they a

a right to separate themselves from the
Union paid a million lives.in a War to
find out that they were mistaken. |

They found that the executive pow-

ers in Washington, and the Supreme
Court in Washington, were not bound

by the interpretation and understand-
ing of our Constitution that was made
and held by the delegates to the Consti-
tutional Convention. :

The same thine will result in the

operation and execution of the San lran-

cisco Charter.

The super. government swhich it

forms will have its own executive au-
thority and its own Supreme Court. That

Supreme Court will be composed of meu
of many nationalities and many langu-

ages. There will be men who have no
conception | -on- earth of the American

idea or the American way of life. There
will be on that Supreme Court men who
are Communist,-men who are Rovalisi,
there will be men who are Jews, men
