ATLANTA, Ga., Oct. 13thAt the close of the |
cotton market Godley Atlanta spot cotton was ouoted |
at 50 points on the New York December future or
8.80c per lb for middling 7-8 inch cotton. The average
price of middling 7-8 inch cotton on ten Southern
markets yesterday was 8.52 cents per lb.

Staple premiums being paid on ten Southern |
designated markets yesterday averaged 31 points on |
the 7-8 inch cotton price and 56 points on for mid.
