When a seller uses the columns of the Bulletin to dispose of
h's products he is obligated to ship such products as represent-
} ed. The Bureau of Markets has on hand several complaints
from purchasers indicating that the seller did not send them

) Ghoroughly: describe the product. The produets |
cording to the complaints ment-oned above, were-so grossly
out of line with the advertising that the Bureau is forced to

~ take notice of it. 4 |
- Such a mistake does not only give a seller a bad name with

_ what they advertised. It is granted that the ad does not, always
shipped ace

the Bulletin in an unfavorable light

the purchaser but it ons other hardships. Besides putting
with the purchaser
hurts others who have products on the market. A: purchaser
stung would hesitate to rely on the ads in the Bulletin
thereafter. ~

In the future sellers should eheck their products before

it

sending in their ads to the Bulletin, It would be well to look
at the ad that comes out in the Bulletin before you ship the

product to be doubly sure the purchaser is getting what _
-advertises for through the Bulletin.
