Ethel Bennett Zachary, was horn September 5,1922,
in Richmond County, Georgia to the late Willie and Ethel
Bennett.
She was called from labor to reward on Friday, November 16,
2001, at 2:00 a.m.
Ethel was married to the late Thomas J. Zachary. She later re-
tired from the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Mrs. Zachary was a lifetime devoted member of the Elim Baptist
Church. She was a member of the Sanctuary Choir where she
faithfully served until her brief illnes and death.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Mrs. Betty
Oliver and Mrs. Mildred (Charles) Grayson, both of Augusta,
GA; one son, Mr. Robert (Brenda) Wallace, Augusta, GA; two
brothers, Mr. Milledge Bennett, Riverside, CA and Mr. Charles
Bennett, Augusta, GA; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Jeanie Gray, Au-
gusta, GA and Mrs. Louise Bennett, Georgetown, SC; a devoted
sister-in-Christ, Mrs. Elizabeth Cobbs; and a host of devoted grand-
children, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
