OBITUARY
(To Be Read Silently)
Mr. David Melvin Williams, Sr. was born to the late Willie and
Aurelia Williams on October 2, 1918.
He was united in holy wedlock to the late former, Mae Alice
McPherson. Two children, Velma Lavern Garner and David Melvin
Williams, Jr. were born to this union.
Mr. Williams served military duties in World War II.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted daughter, Velma
Garner; one son, David M. Williams, Jr.; four grandchildren, Anthony
Garner, Troy Garner, Melvin Brown andJaQuitta Williams; one sister,
Ruth Akers; one aunt, Emma Crane; one neice, Nellie Williams; a
loving cousin, Mozelle Cooper; one daughter-in-law, Linda C.
Williams; one grand-daughter-in-law, Valorie Garner; and a host of
relative and friends.
