"7 have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, 1 have kept the faith, Henceforth, there is
laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that
day ..." 7/ Timothy 4:7, 8A
^Juanita (J). ^Wftite was bom on April 9, 1940, in Queens, New York, to the
late Mary Dent and William Jones. She entered into eternal rest, Thursday, June 12,1997,
at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, Georgia.
On December 20, 1956, she was united in Holy Matrimony to James White. To this union
six children were bom.
At an early age, she was converted and baptized at Elim Baptist Church under the
leadership of the late Rev. R. L. Boyd. She continued her spiritual growth by chairing
numerous church committees and remained active in the Missionary Society, the R. L.
Boyd Chorus and the Elim Mass Choir.
Juanita obtained her education at the Immaculate Conception School and Lucy C. Laney
High School. She was active in the Augusta-North Augusta Travel Club and the C.S.R.A.
Albany State University Alumni Association.
She always had great pride in her work and often referred to the Richmond County
Board of Health as her "Home away from Home." There she touched the lives of all with
whom she came in contact.
To her family she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. As a friend she was
unsurpassed.
Her sweet memory will forever linger in the hearts and minds of her survivors: a
devoted husband, James White; two sons, James M. (Phyllis) White, Albany, GA; and
Gerald R. (D1 Andrea) White, Atlanta, GA; three daughters, Ethel M. Bennett, Decatur,
GA; Donna M. (Sylvester) Anderson, Augusta, GA; and Tammy D. (Vernon) Kelly,
Norcross, GA; mother-in-law, Mrs. Josephine White, Augusta, GA; four sisters, Ophelia
Walker, Brooklyn, NY; Magnolia Edwards, Bertha D. Reid and Josephine Dent, Augusta,
GA; three brothers, Elliot Dent, Sr., Lipot Dent, Augusta, GA; and James Dent, Tampa,

A precious one from us has gone, A voice we love is still.
A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled.
She will not be forgotten, though on earth site is no more,
But in the memory she is with us, as she always was before.

You've always had a special way
of doing things that pleased
Little things that cheer the heart
and leave fond memories
You've always helped to brighten our lives
and what's more you still do
No wonder you will be close in our thoughts
Each time we think of you.

It Takes The Bitter and The Sweet To Make A Life Ftdl and Complete
Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain,
Laughter and teardrops, pleasure and pain -
Low tides and high tides, mountains and plains
Triumphs, defeats, and losses and gains -
But always, in all ways, God's guiding and leading
And He alone knows the things we're most needing -
And when He sends sorrow or some dreaded affliction
Be assured that it comes with God's kind benediction -
And if we accept it as a gift of His love
We'll be showered with blessings from our Father above.
