A Mother's Secret
The sky asks And the mountain tops peak
And the sun asks Where is she?
The clouds says She caught the disease
And the wind tells me You did all you could do.
Little daughter crowds You grazed on the bed And now you are gone.
The sky says we wish she lived, And the winds tell me
We forgive.

Obituary
"We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't need to tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to the shining, they just shine." Dwight Moody Katrena Edna Washington, the brightest light, the "PERSONALITY" of #TeamWashington #Walter'sTribe, was born on April 8, 1966 to Barbara Washington and Walter Washington in Charleston, SC. Katrena, most affectionally known as "Trena" or "Bean", grew up in Eulonia, GA where she was raised by her paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ast Washington. She moved to Brooklyn, NY shortly after her father re-married (Daisy nL aE where she queer and graduated from South Shore High
chool.
Throughout her life, Trena was referred to as bein fiesty, devious and insanely private, traits she used as a protective outer shell. But to those who really knew her, she was really known for a big softie on the | nside. Trena was giving, loving, and served as_ everyone's "cut-up" buddy. Her infectious smile and outward personality will be extremely missed. For no matter the circumstance, Trena was determined to enjoy her life. She loved to dance # ee: shop (#TeamCoach,
TeamLouisV) and travel, as well as enjoying fine culinary pleasures, especially seafood. Yet her greatest enjoyment were her two daughters. Trena's light will always be reflected through Tanea pie Se and Seriah Robinson, who were her
reatest loves and proudest_accomplishments. She eaves behind her parents, Barbara Washington, and Walter & Daisy Washington, her twin brother Kendall Yolanda) siblings Karen, Darren, Michelle, Michael. pre-deceased), Sal, and Nashira (Adetunj!). She will be sorely missed by her nieces and nephews,

and a host of Aunts, Uncles, relatives, and friends. "Stars don't shine because they want to be seen, but because they are stars." Trena, you are our brightest star. Our light is a bit | more dim, but because of your love, with time, we will continue to shine on.
