Dad,
A special dad is hard to find,
You dad Im keeping in my mind,
I wished you could have stayed forever,
But I will never forget you oh not ever.
If dreams werent dreams and dreams came true,
I wouldnt be here Id be with you.
Distance is one thing that keeps us apart,
But dad you will always remain in my heart.
A special smile, a special face,
a special someone I cant replace,
I love you and I always will,
You filled a space that no one will ever replace.
Love,
Bryant

Shawn LenwoodTucker was born May 2, 1975, in
Augusta, Georgia to Shirley and the late Howard Tucker. He
departed this life on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
Shawn accepted Christ at an early age and joined Belle-
Terrace Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Youth
Group and served on the Usher Board.
Shawns educational groundwork was cultivated in
the Richmond County School System. He attended Sue
Reynolds Elementary and later matriculated at Langford
Middle School where he enjoyed participating in football
and playing the trumpet. Shawn graduated high school from
the Academy of Richmond County in 1993. His glorious
college days were spent atVoorhees College in Denmark,

Health and Recreation in 2000.
Shawn was employed with Richmond County School
System for 8 years. He worked at A.C. Griggs Alternative
School and later began working as a Pre-K Parent Facilitator.
In an effort to fulfill his dreams as a licensed barber,
Shawn was currently attending Southern Barber College
here in Augusta, GA. He was also skilled at bartending
and landscaping.
Shawn loved his family and friends. He was a friend to
everyone he met. Shawn worked hard and played hard. His
favorite hobbies were golf, building and operating remote
control cars and helicopters, traveling with his cousins and
longtime friends. He also loved to restore classic trucks.
Shawn was a jokester and kept a positive attitude about life.
His good spirit and wit was definitely contagious.
Shawn leaves to cherish his memories: a wife, Starlesha
and son Bryant of Augusta, GA; a mother, Shirley Tucker
of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Kimberly and Keona Tucker
of Augusta, GA; goddaughters, Amayah Sanders and
Janie Brown of Augusta, GA; and a host of relatives and
