Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee,
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not,
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided,
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I HAVE NEEDED THY HAND HATH PROVIDED,

Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Maxine W. Thurmond loved people. She loved
NOT JUST HER FAMILY, WHOM SHE SIMPLY ADORED, BUT
ALL PEOPLE. SHE LOVED THE STUDENTS SHE INSTRUCTED
DURING HER 43 YEAR TEACHING CAREER. SHE LOVED THE
PEOPLE AT HER CHURCH AND THOSE WHO DID NOT ATTEND
CHURCH. She loved her SORORITY sisters AND JUST
SISTAHS. It didnt MATTER WHO THEY WERE OR WHO
THEY WERENT, MAXINE LOVED AND HAD NO RELUCTANCE
IN DEMONSTRATING IT. SHE SHOWED HER LOVE BY WHAT
SHE GAVE' A SMILE, A KIND WORD, AN OPPORTUNITY OR
money. She loved and she gave. On October 27,
Maxine Tyler Wilson Thurmond was called home
to be with the Lord, whom she loved, served and
worshiped her entire life.
And so we respond with Love,
Maggie, Chuck, Da, Kim
