/ Am Always With ]fou
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
Ton mustnt tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.
I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How much youve given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled on alone.
So grieve for me a while, if you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
That it is only for a while that we must part
So treasure the memories within your heart
I wont be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, Call and I will come
Though you cant see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, youll hear
All my love around you soft and clear
And then, when you come this way alone.
Ill greet you with a smile and a Welcome Home.
Love, Mommie

2 3rd Psalm
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to
lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake. Tea, though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy
rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before
me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head
with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of
the LORD for ever.

From Her Children
We are confident that our mother was so very appreciative
of those that opened their doors and hearts to her in her
time of need. We, as her children, cannot thank you all
enough for all of your efforts and assistance in our
transition in getting mommy back to where she wanted to
be. We love you all! Durel, Chandra, James, and Vickie

Obituary
Leola was born May 25,1939 to the late Durel and Emma
Winfrey in Columbia County. She was blessed with her loving
first born in April 1956. She later united in holy matrimony to
Willie James Sullivan of Evans, Georgia, and moved to New
York City. They were blessed with three more loving children.
Leola completed a course of study in dietetic services at
the New York City Veterans Hospital in April 1972. As well
as graduating a course of study in switchboard and clerical
procedures in June 1973 at the Monroe Business Institute,
New York City, she went on to work for the New York City
Veterans Hospital as a dietitian from 1970-1980. From there
she worked for the Louis Frey Corporation as a bookbinder
and Xerox technician from 1981 until she retired in 2000.
Leola moved back to Augusta in 2005 where her beloved
family welcomed her with open arms. Even though she
wasnt always able to go to a house of worship, she got there
as often as she could. Her love for the Lord was profound.
She was always with praise and prayer for the Lord, everyday,
until the very end.
Leola was a loving mother, wife, auntie, friend, and
Nana. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two
daughters, Vickie Bonner and Chandra (Earl) Mason, of New
York City; two sons, Durel (Gina) Winfrey and James (Andrea)
Sullivan, of Augusta, Georgia; two sisters, Marguerite Robbins
and Katie Mae Broadwater, of Augusta, Georgia; two brothers,
Freddie (Patricia) Winfrey, Sr. and Elijah (Jeanette) Winfrey, of
Augusta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Earl Mason II,
Chandra Bonner, and Quincy Sullivan, of New York City; two
aunts, Luree Dunn, Augusta, and Maria Green, New Jersey;
one uncle, Benjamin Garnett, Augusta, Georgia; five nieces of
Augusta, Georgia, Linda, Emma, Nancy, Valerie, and Belinda;
and two nieces of New York City, Brenda McCoy and
Antionette Harris; five nephews, Thomas, Lorenzo, George,
Calvin, and Elijah. A special mention to the extended family in
New York City of whom she loved dearly; Barbara Hill, Linda
Budd, Druscilla Ardrey, Curtis and Christopher Ardrey, Curtis
Hill, Sr. and Jr., and her two oldest friends, Amanda Sherman
and Jeanette Collins.
Dear Nana,
Tou were like a best friend to me. Tou gave me strength and
stability. When I was down you always put a smile on my face.
Tour sweet kiss and hugs filled my spirit with embrace.
We would stay up all night playing video games, swapping
stories, and sharing secrets.
Thinking of a perfect grandma, you are it. Tou were always
there for me and I thank you for that. When I got in trouble
you always had my back.
I know sometimes we had our differences in the past, but you
would kiss me on the forehead and you let the past be the past.
Tou molded me to be strong and always wanted the best for me
and you were the major part of our family.
Nana, I love you with all my heart. I just want to say thank you
for being there.
Thank you for teaching me the basics of life.
Thank you for being a grandma.
Even though youre gone from here, I know you are near and
you are in a happy place without pain.
Tou are reunited with the Lord, the love of your life, and your
best friend
Love, your Lil Mookie Boo!
