When I come to the end o f the road And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little hut not too long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared
MISS ME BU T LET ME GO. For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone It's all a part o f the Master's plan
A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart
G o to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
MISS ME BU T LET ME GO.

Our eyes can no longer see your smile Yet our hearts still feel it's warmth
Our ears can no longer hear your voice Yet your words o f wisdom will remain with us forever.
We can no longer hold your hand, Yet you still guide our every step, For what we see, hear and touch is only temporary, But what we feel, learn and love is eternal,
For you will always be with us And we will always cherish your words
We will surely miss you But we will always remember your love.

Our sincere appreciation goes out to all for the many acts of kindness shown during our time of bereavement. Your words of comfort and especially your prayers have been a comfort to us all. Perhaps after the sorrow in our hearts has lifted, we will be able to personally thank each of you.

She was born the 15th and youngest child to Deacon Otis and Cora White Watson on November 16, 1924 in McDuffie County, Georgia. She was educated in the McDuffie County public school system and later matriculated to Fort Valley State College where she received her degree.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized at Popular Head Baptist Church in Dearing, Georgia. She later united with Central A.M.E. Church and after many years, she joined the Beulah Grove Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. William F. Mrs. Stanley began her teaching career in 1963 in the Lincoln County School system where she shaped and molded many lives and after leaving in June 1971, she continued her teaching career at Thbman School and also at Lucy Craft Laney High School. In July 1971, she joined the teaching staff of the Academy of Richmond County where she taught home economics until her retirement on August 28, 1986.
