To Those I Love
To those I love and those who love me,
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn' tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love and you can only guess,
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown
But not it's time I traveled on alone,
So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
Its only for awhile that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart
I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So, if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near,
And if you listen with your heart,
You'll hear all my love around you soft and clear,
And then, when you must come this way alone.
I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home."
For the flowers and cards you sent and the gifts you brought so tenderly to our door,
we say "Thank you." The prayers you prayed played a part in easing the pain in our
hearts and have helped us to find the strength to bear the loss of the one we hold so
dear. It has been a great comfort indeed to see you in this time of sorrow and need.
So from our hearts, you help to mend, we thank you sincerely again and again for
being such wonderful friends. The family
