In 1980, she moved back to Augusta, Georgia and reunited with her family church, Miles
Memorial C.M.E. Church, where she was always a vital part. In 1995, after becoming dis-
abled, she moved into Blair House Nursing Home. In 1997, she was crowned Miss Blair
House and in Atlanta on the state level, she was second
runner up.
In celebrating Mrs. Russells 100th birthday, her children,
grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grand-

thanked Him for choosing them to be the offspring of such

THE APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ His only Son Our Lord, who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the
third day he rose from the dead, he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from
thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. 1 believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Twenty-Third Psalm
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters, he restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths ofrighteous'
ness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth
over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the
house of the Lord for ever.
