Veronicas Smile
Written 6y Angela Marshall
Hello, what's up, how you doin' and sometimes just a hey boo
That's the way she greeted you, along with a gigantic smile too
Caring, considerate, selfless and faithful friend to the end
Mother, sister, songbird and more, she was a dynamic blend
>// Celebrating the Life of
tyerenieo/ SAfm/e
Never met a stranger, social butterfly, lived life full and free
Back in the day at GHHS, she was known as Spartan #33
Mom, sis, DeeeLoach, Nikki, Veronica or simply Vee
Whatever name she answered to, she smiled
and was always filled with glee
She illuminated and touched many lives as an ASU Golden RAM
Delta Rho saw that light and inducted #22
to shine with their sorority "fam"
Even though she carried difficult burdens and
heavy loads from time to time
There was no complaining, just a smile
and a harmonious note she would chime
Her love for God, family, friends and sisterhood
beamed bright throughout her life
She was supportive, compassionate, courageous
and never lived with strife
We will miss her hugs, hearty laugh,
free spirit, impromptu songs and style
Most of all we will cherish her love, memories
and that unforgettable Veronica's smile

Mrs. Veronica Niftfi NicoCe (DeLoach, born August 21,1980 in
Augusta, Ga., is the daughter of the late Pamela Marie DeLoach and
Charles Windell DeLoach. She accepted Christ at an early age and was
baptized by Rev. Dr., Clyde Hill Sr., in 1989 at Mt. Calvary Baptist
Church in Augusta, Ga. Nikki was an active and loyal church member.
Her pleasant and infectious smile, bright personality and harmonious
voice led the way for her to sing praises to God by way of the Junior
Chorus, E. Golden Choir and Clyde Hill Sr. Choir. She continued to
strengthen her faith and spiritual walk under the leadership of Apos-
tle Valerie Rogers at, A Word in Season International Ministries, locat-
ed in Lake City, Ga.
During her childhood and adolescent years, Nikki was actively in-
volved in sports and JROTC. She was an ambitious student and a
standout Glenn Hills High School Basketball player. Determination,
competitiveness and commitment earned her the role of Team Cap-
tain. She was equally impactful on and off the court. Nikki was a song-
bird, natural leader and athlete that was voted "Most Talented" by
her high school peers. Her drive and enthusiasm paved the way for
acceptance and enrollment at Albany State University (ASU.) She
earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical Education and
Recreation.
Nikki was a person of integrity and devoted to excellence in every en-
deavor while matriculating through ASU. She was blessed with a
beautiful voice that was shared in the Concert Chorale and Gospel
Choir. Her athletic talent and discipline was noted as a member of the
Tennis Team and ROTC. She pledged a lifetime commitment through
the Delta Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated,
and was initiated on April 13, 2000 as Harmonious #22 of the 28 Tan-
tamount Treasures of Temperament. She was truly a member with
confidence, temperance and resilience. Nikki was compassionate, up-
lifting, and family-oriented. She will be greatly missed by all.
