Theodor Roosevelt Raiford, departed this life December
7, 1971. Born to Laura and Joseph Raiford, October if, 1926, at Ridge
Spring, South Carolina. He became a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church in Ridge Spring at the age of nine* He came to Hempstead and joined South Hempstead Baptist Church in 1952, and was a participant of the Male Chorus*
\ Theodore left to mourn, a wife, Ruth, a daughter, Judy Mae, a son, Theodore Jr*, Mother and Father, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Raiford of Ridge Spring, South Carolina, three sisters, Miss Rebecca Raiford, Mrs. Rosa Hartley of Ridge Spring, So. Carolina, Mrs. Alma Jennings of Hempstead, two brothers, Mr. Rayfield Raiford of Metuchian, New Jer sey, Mr. Abraham Raiford of Hempstead and a host of relatives and friends.
