Rev. Anita tjrace Tryor entered into rest on Monday, July 12,2010 at
her home in Augusta, QA. The youngest of six children, she u>as horn to
the Cate Warren D. McZom, Sr. and the Cate Etta Dixon McZom on
May 19,1955 in Richmond County, (Jeorgia.
A faithfuC servant and Bom Again Christian, Rev. Try or Coved aCC and
touched the Cives of everyone she met. She worked tirelessly at the
MedicaC CoCCege of Georgia for over 23 years. She Coved reading and
was known for hergift of crafts andfCoraC arrangements.
Rev. Tryor acknowledged the Call to Treach the gospel and was licensed
in the ministry in April1993. from that time forward, Rev. Tryor
ministered to the elderly in nursing homes and made visits to those
Cocked up in prison. When the opportunity arose, she also ministered to
the sick, the hereaved, and their families on herjoh.
Rev. Tryor was a member and associate minister of the first T>ayspring
Baptist Church under the leadership of Tastor T)r. WiCCie R. Rivers. She
also served in other ministerial capacities as Women Advisor, secretary
and treasurer.
She had a vision to teach and exhort women to live Holy and strive for
excellence and continued working and learning more to further prepare
herself for accurate and effective ministry.
She leaves to cherish her memory two children, daughter Shontel
Manually and a son, Joseph Hampton, Jr. She also leaves two brothers,
Warren (Suncha) McZom, Jr, and William Tete" (Lolita) McZom;
three sisters, Carolyn Johnson, f ranees McZom, and Bessie (David)
Mkon.
Anita also leaves sixgrandchildren; Med Munnally III, DeMarcos
Munnally, Sean Christopher Munnally, Jada Hampton, Joseph Markel
Hampton, andjaidon Hampton; and a host of aunts, uncles; nieces and
nephews.
Those we love dontgo away
They waif beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear. *
