God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
THE ORDER OF SERVICE
BERTHA PAPA-BERT POLLARD was born on April
28, 1940, to the late Edith Pollard. He was married to the
late Theresa Pollard for over forty years.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, Come to me.

He was preceded into death by his two brothers, Herman y
and Frank Pollard. So He gave you rest.

bertha was a long-time member and trustee ot Lampkm J
Grove Baptist Church. He became a deacon of the church J-[e on[y takes the best
in 2015.
And when I saw you sleeping,
He worked for Merry Brothers, later known as Boral Bricks So peaceful and free from pain
over 30 years, retiring in 2002.
I could not wish you back
In his younger years, Bertha loved playing catcher and was Jo suffer that again
a homerun hitter on a local baseball team. He loved fishing,
gardening, watching baseball on TV, helping his church -The Family-
family, and spending time with family and friends.
Bertha leaves to cherish his memory: his three children,
Grady (Brittney) of Augusta, Georgia, Melissa of
Gainesville, Georgia, and LaShanda of Norcross, Georgia;
four grandchildren, Orlando Brandon Pollard of Appling,
Georgia, Dennis Bershad, Jayla Theresa, and Jordan
Asad Williams, all of Gainesville, Georgia; four great-
grandchildren, Derek Cruz, Courtlyn Pollard, Aubrey, and
BJ Williams; devoted cousin, Mary Johnson; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
