MRS. PATRICIA ANN STEPHENS MCCLOUD, affectionately
known as Pat-Pat, entered into rest, Tuesday, May 2, 2018, in
the calmness and quietness of her home. Pat was born on March
12,1946 to Wadie and Mattie Stephens. Both parents preceded
her into eternal rest.
Patricias education started in North Augusta, South Carolina
where she graduated from Jefferson High School. Soon after, Pat
would continue her education by pursuing a career in nursing.
She earned her Associate of Apphed Science degree in Nursing
from Bronx Community College, later she received her Bachelor
of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern
Illinois University, a Master of Science degree in Health Service
Administration from Central Michigan University, and a
second Master of Science degree in Nursing/Education from
the University of Phoenix. Patricia held Nursing license in both
South Carolina and Georgia.
Patricias education afforded her the opportunity to work in
many facets of the health care industry. Her career includes
stays at WJB Dorn Veterans Administration Medical Center,
Augusta Veterans Administration Medical Center, University
Health Care System, South Carolina Department of Correction
Women Center, Spectrum Healthcare-McCormick Correctional
Institution, Richmond County Law Enforcement Center-
Division of Spectrum Health, Aiken Technical College Adjunct
Faculty Member, NHC Home Care, and at Brandon Wilde
Assisted Living Facility.
Patricia served her church and her community. She served
as President of Carpentersville Baptist Church Healthcare
Ministry, and later worked as an Advisor for Cancer Support
Ministry Group for First Nazareth Baptist Church. She
belonged to several professional organization which includes the
Nurses Organization of Veterans Affairs, the American Nurses
Association, Georgia Nurses Association, and the South Carolina
Nursing Association. Also, Patricia was an avid member of The
Charmettes, Incorporated, and took pride in belonging to Chi
Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated.
Pat leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with her sister,
Ava Williams; brother-in-law, Frederick; niece, Nylah; and
nephew, Marcus, all of Augusta, Georgia.

We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new. Wc thought about
you yesterday. And days before that too. Wc think of you in silence. We often
speak your name. Now all wc have is memories. And your picture in a frame.
Yourmcmoty is our keepsake. With which well never part. God has you in his
keeping. Wc have you i/i our heart.
We, the family of Patricia Stephens McCloud, wish to say thank
you for all of your support, prayers, and words of encouragement.
Pat was a special part of our family who will live on forever in
our hearts. She was blessed with so many great friends. We
want to express our heart-felt gratitude and say thank you to
each one of you for making this time a little easier. Through our
cherished memories she will live on forever. THANK YOU to all
of Pats caregivers, but special thanks to Mrs. Brenda Gibbs, Mrs.
Christine Chandler, Mrs. Gwen Lamback, Mr. Charles Lamback,
Mrs. Lee Thurmond, Mrs. Shirley Holloway, Ms. Maggie Brown,
