OBITUARY
Mr. J.D. "Bfll" Jones, Sr. was born February 7, 1927 in Lincolnton, Georgia. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 1994 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, Georgia.
Mr. Jones was a member of the New Tabernacle Baptist Church and a retired sawyer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Lee Jones of Lincolnton, GA; two daughters, Mrs. Betty J. Williams of Lincolnton, GA and Ms. Mary L. Jones of New York; four sons, Mr. Willie Clarence Jones of New York, Mr. J.D. Jones, Jr. and Mr. Jesse Jones both of Lincolnton, GA and PFC Adams Jones of Guam, Hawaii; one sister, Ms. Ann Ware of Augusta, GA; two brothers, Mr. Willie Jones and Mr. John Kelly Jones both of Lincolnton, GA; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild; a friend, Ms. Eunice Freeman of Lincolnton, GA and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Sometimes its hard to understand And harder still to say
Thy will be done when sorrow comes And sadness fills our day
But Faith was meantfor times like these And ifwe take Gods Hand With Loving Wisdom
He will help our hearts to understand
