OBITUARY
MRS. LURLINE JOHNSON was born October 5, 1923
in Harlem, GA to Mr. and Mrs. Norman ( .Eva Dora)
Johnson. She was one of two children, Thomas.
Early in her life, her family moved to Augusta,
GA where she resided until God called her home.
She was married on February 6, 1957 to Richard
Lee Johnson.
She joined the Elim Baptist Church at an early
age under Rev. R. L. Boyd. She served on the
Usher Board and was one of the founder's of the
Youth Usher Board.
She leaves to cherish her memory Richard
Johnson,husband, Augusta, GA; two sons, Ralph
Jones, Sr, Augusta, GA and Rev. Norman Johnson,LA;
one daughter-in-law, Barbara Jones, Augusta, GA.;
four granddaughters, Norma Denise Jones, Lurline
Rena Jones-Smith, devoted granddaughter, Donna
Marie Jones, all of Augusta, GA; Tiffany Johnson,
Los Angles, CA; one grandson, Ralph Jones, Jr.,
Albany, GA; one grandson-in-law, Chris Smith,
Augusta , GA; one granddaughter-in-law, Nita Jones,
Albany, GA; five great-grandchildren, Terrance
Henley, Branton Henley, Amber smith, Marquita
Jones all of Augusta, GA, Tia Johnson, Los Angles,
CA. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and
relatives and friends.
