For Our Qranny
i(^ The Participants of the Homegoing Celebration i(f^
Your gentle face and patient smile
With sadness we recall.
You had a kindly word for each
And died beloved by all.
The voice is mute and stilled the heart
That loved us well and true,
Ah, bitter was the trial to part
From one so good as you.
You are not forgotten Granny
Nor will you ever be.
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by we will miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.
~ Kahliyah and Patrice ~
A lifetime of friendship we have shared,
and memories that say how much you cared,
in my heart is where youll always be .. .
until that glorious day your face Ill see . .
Your Friend, Jessie Bland
With tenderness and loving care
Your love has guided us,
From a mothers heart you prayed for us .. .
Joy filled your eyes to see us strive
for excellence in all we would do,
Something only a mothers love could do,
But it was only possible because of the greatness
God placed in you.

Lovinq Memories
A precious one from me is gone
A voice I loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in my home
Which never can be filled.
God saw the road was getting rough
The hills were hard to climb.
He gently closed those loving eyes
And whispered, Peace be thine.
The weary hours, the days of pain,
The sleepless nights are passed.
The ever patient worn out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.
With Love, William
