THE SOLEMN PROCESSION [Book of Common Prayer, p. 491]
Great is Thy Faithfulness, LEVAS II, No. 189
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with thee;
Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not,
As thou hast been thou forever wilt be.
Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed thy hand hath provided,
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
THE COLLECT [Book of Common Prayer, p. 493]
PRIEST: The Lord be with you.
PEOPLE: And also with you.
PRIEST: Let us pray.
O God, who by the glorious resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ
destroyed death, and brought life and immortality to light: Grant that
your servant Richelle., being raised with him, may know the strength of
his presence, and rejoice in his eternal glory; who with you and the
Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
0 God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our
sister Richelle. We thank you for giving her to us, her family and
friends, to know and to love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage.
In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to
see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may
continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with
those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his Name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
1 will fear no evil;
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
thou annointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

It Is Well With My Soul, LEVAS II, No. 188
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like seabillows roll;
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
It is well with my soul,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And has shed His own blood for my soul.
My sin oh, the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin not in part, but the whole
Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
And, Lord, hast the day when the faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll,
The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend,
Even so it is well with my soul.

THE APOSTLES CREED [Book of Common Prayer, p. 496]
/ believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
PRAYER OF THE PEOPLE [Book of Common Prayer, p. 497]
For our sister Richelle, let us pray to our Lord Jesus Christ who said, "I
am Resurrection and I am Life."
Lord, you consoled Martha and Mary in their distress; draw near to us
who mourn for Richelle and dry the tears of those who weep.
Hear us, Lord.
You wept at the grave of Lazarus, your friend; comfort us in our
Hear us, Lord.
You raised the dead to life; give to our sister eternal life.
Hear us, Lord.
You promised paradise to the thief who repented; bring our sister to
the joys of heaven.
Hear us, Lord.
Our sister was washed in Baptism and anointed with the Holy Spirit;
give her fellowship with all your saints.
Hear us, Lord.
She was nourished with your Body and Blood; grant her a place at the
table in your heavenly kingdom.
Hear us, Lord.
Comfort us in our sorrows at the death of our sister; let our faith be
our consolation, and eternal life our hope.

THE HOLY COMMUNION [Book of Common Prayer, p. 361]
It is right, and a good and joyful thing...
... and with all in the company of heaven, who for ever sing this hymn
to proclaim the glory of your Name:
Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts,
Heaven and earth are filled with your glory
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, of the Lord
Hosanna in the highest Hosanna in the highest
Holy and gracious Father: In your infinite love...
...Therefore we proclaim the mystery of faith:
Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.
We celebrate the memorial of our redemption, O Father...
...And now, as our Savior Christ has taught us, we are bold to sing:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom
come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is
the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give him thanks and praise.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us;
Therefore let us keep the feast.
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand, LEVAS II, No. 99
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus name.
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In evry high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
His oath, His covenant and blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
he then is all my hope and stay.
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
O may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
How Great Thou Art, LEVAS II, No. 60
0 Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made,
1 see the stars I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy powr throughout the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, my Savior, God, to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze.
And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Send him to die, I scarce can take it in,
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, my God how great thou art.
POST COMMUNION PRAYER [Book of Common Prayer, p. 498]
Almighty God, we thank you that in your great love you have fed us with the
spiritual food and drink of the Body and Blood of your Son Jesus Christ, and
have given us a foretaste of your heavenly banquet Grant that this
Sacrament may be to us a comfort in affliction, and a pledge of our
inheritance in that kingdom where there is no death, neither sorrow nor
crying, but the fullness of joy with all your saints; through Jesus Christ our
Savior. Amen.
THE COMMENDATION [Book of Common Prayer, p. 499]
PRIEST: Give rest, O Christ, to your servant with your saints,
PEOPLE: where sorrow and pain are no more,
neither sighing, but life everlasting.
PRIEST: You only are immortal, the creator and maker of mankind;
and we are mortal, formed of the earth, and to earth shall
we return. For so did you ordain when you created me,
saying, "You are dust, and to dust you shall return." All of
us go down to the dust; yet even at the grave we make
our song: Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
People: Give rest, 0 Christ, to your servant with your saints, where
sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life
PRIEST: Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your
servant Richelle. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a
sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner
of your own redeeming. Receive her into the arms of your
mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into
the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
Lift High The Cross, The Hymnal 1982, No. 473
Lift high the cross, the love of Christ proclaim
till all the world adore his sacred Name.
Led on their way by this triumphant sign,
the hosts of God in conquering ranks combine.
Each new-born servant of the Crucified
bears on the brow the seal of him who died.
O Lord, once lifted on the glorious tree,
as thou hast promised, draw the world to thee.
So shall our song of triumph ever be:
praise to the Crucified for victory.
PRIEST: Let us go forth into the world, rejoicing in the power of
the Spirit.
People: Thanks be to God.
