Obituary
There's an open gate at the end of the road
through which each must go alone
And there, in light we cannot see,
Our Father claims His own.
Beyond the gate your loved one finds
happiness and rest
And there is comfort in the thought
that a loving God knows best.
Rose Marie Hassell Hunter departed this earthly life October 1,
2005. She was bom May 14, 1948 in Richmond County to the late
Annie Ruth Brown Handy and Hubert Hassell.
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior
and was baptized at Cumming Grove Baptist Church. She later
joined Elim Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and Gospel Music.
Rose Marie attended Richmond County public schools.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Lorraina Best, two
grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret A. Wilson, Philadelphia, PA,
Alice E. Wilson and Sandra J. Roberson, both of Augusta, GA;
three brother-in-laws; a devoted Godmother, Ella Winfield; and a
host of Nephews, Nieces, Aunts, Uncles, and other sorrowing
relatives and friends.

GOD put His arms around you, lifted you to rest.
Gods garden must be beautiful for HE only takes the best.
MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO
Miss me a little, but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.
This is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone.
Its all a part of the Masters plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds,
Miss Me, But Let Me Go!
