ANOTHER SOLDIER GONE
Another soldier gone
To. get a great reward;
Ho fought the fight and kept the faith
And now gone home to God.
He fought until he fell
ipon the battle field,
--.nd then he heard" the General say,
"Lay down your sword and shield"
His soul has gone to God
The earth has claimed
And how he's shouting 'round the throne
While we are left to mourn.
Some day we'll meet again,
Our loved ones gone before;
Some day we'll reach that happy land,
Where parting is no more.
