ANNIE MARIE HANSON was born on March 1, 1926 in Mitchell,
Georgia to the late Harvey and Lillie Mae Latimer. She was the wife of the
late Jessie Hanson.
The Latimers moved to Augusta, Georgia with Annie and her younger
brother, the late Harvey Latimer, Jr. Annie was known as a hard, dedicated
working person. She loved the Lord and loved helping people.
She retired from Gracewood State School. Many people in Augusta
remember her as the Avon Lady.
Annie was a tireless worker at Miles Memorial C.M.E. She was a former
Sunday School Superintendent, Secretary, Treasurer, Missionary, and a
faithful Stewardess for many years. Annie Marie was promoted to the
height of Emeritus for her work and dedication. Wherever she was needed,
she would be there to make sure it got done. She never stopped working
and giving God her all.
Mrs. Annie Marie Hanson, my mom, you will be missed.
I love you, but God loved you best.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Jessie Hanson and daughter,
Donnie Williams.
She leaves to mourn her passing: one son, Tony Cook (Ruby) of Orlando,
Florida; grandchildren, Tony White of Augusta, Georgia, Danny White,
Marcus J. White, Winfred White, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Jacqueline White-
Hart (Anthony) of Baltimore, Maryland, Miriam Williams of Florida
and Donovan Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; fifteen great grandchildren;
niece, Brenda Moody (Maurice) of Detroit, Michigan; goddaughter, Kaila
Barnes of Augusta, Georgia; first cousin, Mary Thomas of Philadelphia,

Minister: Let us unite in this historic confession of the Christian Faith:
Minister and People: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth:
and in Jesus Christ his only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of
the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried: the third day
He rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the
Father Almighty: from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life everlasting, Amen.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
The family gratefully acknowledges your comforting expressions of
care, loving concern, and sympathy during this season of sorrow.
We pray for Gods blessings upon you, and ask that you continue to
keep us in your thoughts and prayers. - The Family
