Home going Celebration of Brother William Alfred Hannan.
He departed this life on September 20,1991 at 10:45 p.m.
William A. Hannan was born August 18, 1934 in Atlanta, GA
to the late Reverend G.B. and Verna Hannan. Bill, as he was affec-
tionately called, attended Lucy Laney High School in Augusta, GA
where he graduated and went on from there to Morris Brown Col-
lege in Atlanta, GA.
He served two tours of duty in the Unted States Army, and
was also enlisted in the Air Force Reserve. On September 19, 1969,
Bill Hannan and Beverly Ann Scott were united in holy matrimony.
Thereafter in 1975, Bill and Beverly and their four children
moved from Atlanta, GA to Los Angeles, CA where Bill resided
until his death.
In 1990, Bill accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and was
united with the Love and Unity Church of God In Christ, under the
leadership of Pastor Ronald C. Hill.
He leaves to the care of the Lord and the cherishing of his
memories: his devoted and loving wife Beverly Ann Hannan; step-
mother, Lyda Hannan of Columbus, GA; two sons, Bruce Hannan
of Santa Barbara, CA, Mark Scott of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters,
Lori Ann Boone of Los Angeles, CA and Julie Claire Hannan of At-
lanta, GA; three sisters, Verna Miller of Sterling, VA, Dorothy Bair,
of Atlanta, GA, Mabel Boseman of Atlanta, GA; and one grand-
daughter, Erika Lynette of Los Angeles, CA; one son-in-law, Kevin
D. Boone of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter-in-law, Shari Scott of
Los Angeles, CA; and other hosts of nieces, nephews, relatives and
many, many friends who remain dear and precious to him.
