The life of MR. WILLIE HALL, JR. began on June 15, 1932 in Thomson,
Georgia. He was born to the late Mr. Willie Hall, Sr. and Mrs. Martha West
Hall. On Thursday, May 26,2016 at 10:52 P.M., he stepped out of time and
into eternity.
Willie was the eldest of ten children; seven brothers and two sisters of
which five brothers and one sister has preceded him in death.
Willie had very strong work ethics. He was employed and worked for
Weathers Transfer and Storage Company, Bekins Transfer and Storage
Company, and North American Moving and Storage Company for more
than forty years.
Willie became an honorary parishioner of Word of Faith Christian
Fellowship Church in 2007, and became know as Daddy Hall. He was
very supportive of the Mens Prayer Breakfast and Mens Day Celebration.
He was a member of the Posses which was a group of senior citizens that
supported the Thanksgiving Community Fellowship Day. Daddy Hall
was a very strong supporter of the food pantry of Word of Faith. He would
use his own red truck to pick up the food from Golden Harvest Food
Bank and deliver it to the Church. When he could no longer lift heavy
objects, he would sit on the back of the truck and unwrap packages so
the truck could be unloaded. Whatever Daddy Hall could do to help, he
was willing to do it. Even when Daddy Hall could not come to church,
he would always ask, Did you all have a nice crowd today? He was very
concerned about Word of Faith.
Daddy Hall was married to Laura J. Hall. He was the father of eight
children of which two preceded him in death; one son, Lorenzo Hall and
one daughter, ShTina Williams.
Daddy Hall leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Laura J. Hall; two daughters,
Apostle Loretta Butler and Willene (Kenneth) Armstrong of Augusta, GA;
four sons; Jerry J. Hall, Clyde S. Hall, Donovan (Yvette) Cherry of Augusta,
GA and Tony L.(Alfreda) Hall of Perry, GA; twelve grandchildren; sixteen
great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Martha
M. Beck of Griffin, GA; two brothers, Tommy (Mary) Hall of Augusta, GA
and Alexander Hall of Griffin, GA; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law;
and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Dont grieve for me, for now Im free. Im following the path God laid for me. I
took His hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could
not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must
stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; oh yes,
these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you
the sunshine of tomorrow. My lifes been full, I savored much; good friends, good
times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; dont lengthen it
now with undue grief Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me
now, He set me free.
We, the family of Mr. Willie Hall, Jr. wish to express our heartfelt love and
deepest gratitude to each of you for your support, prayers, encouragement,
and acts of kindness shown to us during this very trying time. May God richly
bless each of you as you have richly blessed us.
