Dad, in my eyes,
Yon are the ultimate solider.
You've fought tlxe good fight of faith.
Solider of a world hidden from the eye,
Your armor, invisible, used to edify others.
Each day I saxo you arm yourself for battle.
Diligence armed your xoill to preserved family.
Commitment your sword, protecting all xvithin your
favor.
Wisdom protected your mind from going astray.
Gentleness your shield against xvorlds harshness.
Gas of laughter and the xvarmth of your smile unarmed
any xoould-be enemies. Love your breastplate that Ixeld
xvithin it the treasure of xvho you are.
And noxo that you're on tlxe other side,
You have passed tlxe legacy of your armor to me.
Tlxank xjou, Dad, for leaving behind the treasures
money cannot buy.
Love,
Mandy

To the man with whom God helped me to grow
and taught me most of the things I know. Your
love was great and unending to me, happy and
polite for everyone to see. I will miss you in the
physical form from this day, but I know I will see
you in the spiritual form one day.
Thank you, lather, for everything.
Love,
Tyrone

Beautiful toiler, thy work all done, beautiful sold into glory
gone, beautiful life xoith its crown now own. God gweth
thee rest. Rest from all sorroxos, and watching, and fears,
rest from all possible sighing and tears. Rest through God s
endless, xoonderful years - At home xoith the blest. Beauti-
ful spirit, free from all stain, ours the heartache, the sor-
row and pain, thine is the glory and infinite gain -Thy
slumber is sxoeet. Peace on the broxo and the eyelid so
calm, peace in the heart, 'neath the xohite folded palm, peace
dropping down like a xoondrous balm from the head to the
feet. "It xoas so sudden," our xohite lips said. "Hoxo xoe
shall miss him, the beautiful dead, xoho take the place of
the precious one fled; but God knoxoeth best. We knoxo He
xoatches the sparroxos that fall, hears the sad cry of the
grieved hearts that call, friends, husband, children, He
loveth them all - We can trust for tlte REST."
