MRS. CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH WYSE CRAWFORD departed this earthly life on Wednesday,

Mrs. Crawford joined Elim Baptist Church at an early age under the pastorate of Reverend Robert
L. Boyd, and she was a steadfast member all of her life. Down through the years Mrs. Crawford
was active in Sunday School, Baptist Training Union, Mission Ministry, Willing Workers Club,
The Choir, Bible Study, and other areas of church ministry. Once she attended a workshop in the
Atlanta area for handicapped and blind youths, where she learned the craft of basket weaving
and belt-making. Mrs. Crawford was active outside of the church as well, having been a member
of the Senior Council and Autumn Care Adult Day Center, Inc.
Mrs. Crawford was married to the late Jessie Crawford, and to their union two children were
born, daughter, the late Doris C. Robertson and devoted son, Charles Crawford. She was preceded
in death by her sister, Rachel A. Wyse, and two brothers, William and James Wyse.
In addition to her son, she is survived by: her beloved sister, Ruth Mamie Wyse; son-in-law, Robert

Mrs. Crawford will be remembered as one with a calm demeanor and engaging personality. She
sincerely loved the Lord and enjoyed worshipping Him at Elim Baptist Church. Anytime there
was an event at the church, Mrs. Crawford wanted to be in attendance. Certainly, her unique
personality, her spirit and presence at Elim leave a tremendous void. She will be missed dearly.

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in whats to be
A resting place along the road to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
But never meant to stay.
Our destination is a place far greater than we know,
For some, the journeys quicker, for some the journeys slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
Well claim a great reward
And find an everlasting peace together with the Lord.
We, the family of the late Mrs. Charlotte Elizabeth Wyse Crawford, express our sincere appreciation and
gratitude for your support, prayers, and all other acts of kindness throughout Charlottes illness and
demise. Especially, we thank the hospice staff of Heartland Enriching Life for their caring service. We ask
Gods blessings on each of you. Continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
