OBITUARY
Miss Frances Collins was born on September 6,1937 in Columbia County GA, to Mrs. Sadie
Maude Collins and Deacon Willie Allen Collins, Sr.
Frances was baptized at an early age and became a member of the Crawford Grove Missionary
Baptist Church; she was a long-time member of Crawford Groves Pastors Support Ministry.
She loved going to church and Praising God. One of her biggest joys, was singing with the Lake
Crossing Health Center Choir, and performing on the first Saturday of each month on a local
radio station.
Known for her sweet spirit and beautiful smile, Frances was active in several pageants held at
Lake Crossing. Her many hobbies included coloring, singing, playing bingo as well as other
arts and crafts.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie and Willie Collins as well as one sister,
Mrs. Willie Maude Collins Crawford.
She leaves to cherish her memories, ten (10) siblings: Mamie (Herbert) Burgess, Martha Dicks,
Mattie (Charles) McCree, Willie Collins, Jr., Tom (Octavia) Collins III, and Robert James Collins;
Grace (Lee) Davis, Diann Jackson, Mary (Dwayne) Glover, Brenda (Charlie) Tensley and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
