It was a late evening breeze. God was making His rounds. In the
midst of His roll calling, he came across Albert Bobby Chinn,
Jr.s gold plated name. He stopped hurriedly and removed the
name from the roster. He beckoned His angels to place the name
on the role.
Mr. Albert Bobby Chinn, Jr., was born on March 16th, 1952,
in Richmond County, Georgia to Mrs. Fannie B. Scott Chinn
and the late Dea. Albert Chinn, Sr.
He was a graduate of T. W. Josey High School and attended
Morehouse College.
He was employed by SRS for twenty-six (26) years where he
worked as a Supervisor.
In earlier years he was converted and joined the Mt. Zion A.M.E.
Zion Church.
He departed this life on Thrusday, October 10, 2002, in the
University Hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors include: a devoted companion, Ms. Dorothy Henley;
mother, Mrs. Fannie Chinn; one son, Keith Tillman; one daugh-
ter, Rashonda Nicole Chinn; one brother, Mr. Michael C. (Doris)
Chinn, all of Augusta, Georiga; aunts and uncles, Mrs. Bernice
Clark, Mrs. Susie Stokes, Mrs. Willie Eva (James) Clark, Mrs.
Lillie Mae (Joseph) Moore and Mr. Jerome (Janice) Scott, all of
Augusta, Georgia, Mr. John Briller and Mr. Bargeron Briber, of
Newark, New Jersey; one nephew, Mr. Michael C. Diggs, Au-
gusta, Georgia; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Whenever I lifted my hands in prayer, I asked the Lord above to sur-
round you with his blessings, to guide you and the love you have for me
with His love. As a little girl that was always a special prayer for me.
That my Lord would listen to my deepest prayers, for the bond we have
together. You always encouraged me to do my best. Daddy, for you I
will always strive and succeed in this world, with your hand in my hand.
Daddy, for your love shared with a smile that was always warm and
bright, you cared and reassured me to help make everything all right.
Daddy, no matter what the need, you did your best to lend a hand. You
listened with concern . . . that showed you really understood. Daddy,
on this special day before my 19th birthday, 1 can really see your smile,
and hear you whisper, Happy Birthday my special princess, hey I love
you. In my open heart of love Daddy, you will always be present. For
when I look in the mirror at me, 1 too, will smile and shall always see a
seed of love, faith and happiness that was planted there by my Daddy,
Bobby Chinn.
