A Celebration of Life and Love for Bessie Black Bailey

Mother
We had a wonderful mother, one who
never really grew old
Her smile was made of sunshine, and
her heart was solid gold
Her eyes were as bright as shining stars,
and in her cheeks fair roses you see
We had a wonderful mother, and that's
the way it will always be
But take heed, because shes still keeping an eye on all of us
So lets make sure she will like what she sees

Acknowledgements
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in your chair.
Perhaps you sent a floral arrangement, if so we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could
say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us
that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much, whatever the part.

Our (Darting grandma
A woman of extreme strength, courage and love
who was beautiful, soft and now peaceful and free as a dove
Someone who our admiration was built around
who could comfort our hearts without making a sound
Our Darling Grandma, we will forever hold in our hearts
your strength as a wonderful mother to our mothers and fathers
and the wisdom you were so kind to impart.
Our Darling Grandma, we will always respect
all you went through in your hardships and your ability to hold
yourself with such dignity and pride in all your days
your beauty shines in us all who were lucky to be part of your
devoted family.
We will carry you in our eyes, minds, and hearts.
Our Darling Grandma, we promise to hold close all you have
taught us and to remember the beautiful woman we owe our lives to
for giving us life, to blessing us with strong inner spirit and courage,
her unconditional love and her contagious laughter, for being such a
person we will hold deep in our hearts now and here after.
Our Darling Grandma, You are
taking a little part of us with you as
you follow your angels who will
guide you to your precious place,
May you look down on us with pride
on what you brought into this world
with dignity and grace.
Our Darling Grandma, as you enter
your heavenly home, may you rest in
peace as you deserve, for you will be
truly missed and remembered for
your love and honor in which we
will preserve. We love you always and forever.
