Mr. C. H. Douglas,
Macon, Ga. [Georgia]
Hon. [Honorable] Sir: --
Some time ago I wrote you in interest of one of the local CHURCH CLUBS, requesting that you secure the services of some of the talented SINGERS, that appear in your Theatres from time to time.

Your sec'y [secretary], answered the letter and advised that he would look after the mater [matter] for the Club. I was unable to find a copy of the letter this A.M. but feel sure that you will help the Ladies, of Dublin, out on this matter.

What they want is some one [someone] to SING here (that can draw a crowd) on percentage basis, for the benefit of the CHURCH.

Should you give this request any more of your valuable attention, please write to Mrs. T. W. Evans, (Wife of Pastor of St. [Saint] Paul A. M. E. C [African Methodist Episcopal Church]) 308-Rowe, St. [Street] Dublin, Ga. [Georgia]

Any consideration given these fine ladies of St. [Saint] Paul, will be highly appreciated, by,

Yours very truly,]
[Signed] [written text: H. H. Dudley]
