On the cover of the program, an image of Tom Mix advertises The Drifter (1929), one of the last silent films made by Mix, distributed by FBO Pictures. Underneath the image is the announcement that sound on disc is coming soon. On the second page, an image of four young men advertises the film Four Sons (1928), presented by producer William Fox (whose Fox Film Corporation merged with Twentieth Century Pictures in 1935 to become Twentieth Century Fox). The image is followed by a brief plot outline. The next image advertises the film Jazz Age (1929), another FBO Pictures release, and includes the names of its stars, followed by a brief synopsis of the film. The following page shows a drawing of an unshaven man grabbing a woman's arm while another unshaven man grabs his arm and prepares to punch him. An inset box advertises the film The City of Purple Dreams (1928), and lists the names of the stars. A brief synopsis of the film follows. The final page advertises the film Vanishing Hoofs (1926), with a drawing of a man on a horse rescuing a woman from a car that has plunged over a cliff. The advertisement emphasizes adventure and "a good Western picture." At the bottom appears an advertisement for Smith's Place at The Hamburg Foundry, located next to the Douglass Theatre.
