- Letter from James A. Bailey of Hatch Show Print, a Nashville-based letterpress printing company that specialized in producing posters for country, blues, and jazz performers, to the manager of the Douglass Theatre, dated March 5, 1928, regarding a shipment of advertising material. Bailey reports that his company received instructions from the "Ma" Rainey Company to send two hundred posters to the Douglass Theatre express COD. He asks that the shipment receive prompt attention and directs the manager to settle with the "Ma" Rainey Company when they play at the Douglass Theatre.
