- The Clifford Baldowski cartoon depicts a group of men dressed in suits labeled "city politicians," "county politicians," and "Birch Society" standing behind a barricade labeled "Health of our children." One of the men says "--Then we're against floridation [sic]-- so there!" On the other side of the barricade, a group of citizens face off against the politicians. They hold signs that say "Major Civic Clubs support," "Public health service recommendation," "American Medical Association support," and "American Dental Association endorsement."
