- The Clifford Baldowski cartoon depicts a gigantic elephant with facial hair and a "hippie" bandana. It is labeled "Pop festival." Various men with dark glasses are gathered around the elephant and feeling its body parts. Lester Maddox feels the trunk and exclaims "it's a snake." Herman Talmadge feels an ear and identifies it as a fan. A hippie feels the elephant's feed and says "it's grass." A policeman touches the animal's side and says "it's a house." Other people identify the tail as a "rope," its leg as a "tree," and as being "free."
