Northwest Airlines Schedule 1944 September 20

EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 20, 1944
CHICAGO MILWAUKEE MADISON ROCHESTER
ST. PAUL MINNEAPOLIS DULUTH FARGO WINNIPEG
BISMARCK MILES CITY BILLINGS HELENA MISSOULA
BUTTE SPOKANE. PORTLAND * SEATTLE
SHORTEST,.. FASTEST

speed . . . for one thing.
Giant planes like this will carry you at well over 200 miles
an hour . . . Seattle to New York in 11 hours . . . any port in
the world only hours away instead of weeks.
Luxurious comfort youll have ... by day and by night.
Big, roomy seats for fifty passengers or more . . . probably
a "club compartment . . . full sized individual berths . . .
smoother, quieter flight to make you relax . . , delicious meals,
deftly served ... a feeling of "ah, this is really first class trans-
portation !
Dependability far beyond todays high performance.
Startling developments in flight guidance and control, in
which Northwest Airlines has had an expert hand, promise to
make post-war flying practically independent of the weather.
Youll plan business trip or vacation with the assurance of
arrival on the dot . . . reap sure dividends of precious hours
saved, hours chopped from the humdrum tedium of mere get-
ting-from-here-to-there, hours added profitably to working for a
living or playing for fun.
Advances like these dont appear for the asking. You may be
sure that Northwest Airlines with its expert knowledge gained
from 18 years in the business of flying, plus its priceless ex-
perience in rebuilding hundreds of bombers for the Army Air
Forces, will lead in bringing you safer, swifter, more comfortable
flight tomorrow.
