- Imelda Whitney recounts her WWII experiences. She was one year into nurses' training when Pearl Harbor was attacked. She joined the Army and traveled by way of the Queen Mary to served in the European theater. Upon landing in Scotland she headed to Southhampton, England and then on to Omaha Beach after D-Day. She served in a hospital in France soon after its liberation by the Allies.
