- Description:
- Robert and Grace Stephens recount their WWII experiences. Mr. Stephens was an exchange student in Germany and was on the last train Hitler allowed out of the Rhineland before his occupation in 1936. After graduating from law school Mr. Stephens worked with Army Intelligence. In 1943 he went to Atlanta to provide training for a combat unit. He was later assigned to Justice Robert Jackson's staff as an attorney during the Nuremberg Trials since he spoke German.
