- Harold Loden recounts his service during WWII in the Air Force assigned to aerial photography/mapping unit. He was in the 311 Photography Unit and the 7th Geodetic Control Squadron. He was in Brazil September 1943 until September 1944. Once back in the states he volunteered for the Army to learn Japanese language. After studying, he went to Japan after the bomb dropped.
