- William Fletcher recounts his WWII experiences in the Army Air Corp. After training on twin engine and B-17 planes he was stationed with the 100th Bomb Group in England. He crashed in Holland and was taken prisoner by the Germans. He was in the POW camp, Stalag Luft 1, in Barth, Germany from February 21, 1944 until May 6, 1945. The camp was liberated by the Russians.
