- Robert Clute recounts his WWII experiences. He served in a tank brigade in General Patton's Third Army. He was not an admirer of Patton and explains why. He was wounded in battle by a French sniper. He was shot multiple times and once in the thigh bone. He waited 2 days on the battle field for help. He recounts his travel back to France during wartime on a medical train. Robert Clute eventually worked with displaced person and helped them relocate from concentration camps after WWII.
