Description:
"Iris Little performing with another member of Proposition Theatre in the production of 'The Seagull' at the NAC."--from Jim Alexander's annotations.
Proposition Theatre Company actress Iris Little and an unidentified actor perform the play "Seagull" at the Neighborhood Arts Center. The opening performance of "Seagull" was the first show to be performed at "Stage One," the Neighborhood Arts Center's theatre. "Seagull" ran November 17-19 and December 1-3, 1977, and January 15, 1978. Director and playwright Walter Dallas ran the Proposition Theatre Company, which was the Neighborhood Arts Center's house theatre troupe, before pursuing successful careers as an off-Broadway director, tenured professor of drama, screenwriter, and artistic director.
