Peace, perfect peace, with loved ones far away? In Jesus' keeping we are safe, and they.
For none of us has life in himself, and none becomes his own master when he dies.
Peace, perfect peace, our future all unknown? Jesus who knows, and He is on the throne.
For if we have life, we are alive in the Lord; and if we die, we die in the Lord.

So then whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.,possess{JJn.

"HOW TEDIOUS AND TASTELESS THE HOURS"
I
How tedious and tasteless the hours, When Jesus no longer I see! Sweet prospects, sweet birds and sweet flowers, have all lost their sweetness to me.
The midsummer sun shines but dim, The fields strive in vain to look gay;
I
But when I am happy in Him, December's as pleasant as May.
Content with beholding His face, My all to His pleasure resigned;
I
No changes of season or place, Would make any change in my mind. While blessed with a sense of His love, A palace a toy would appear;
And prisons would palaces prove, If Jesus would dwell with me there.
I
His name yields the richest perfume, And sweeter than music His voice;
I
His presence disperses my gloom, And makes all within me rejoice. I should, where He always thus nigh, Have nothing to wish or to fear;
No mortal as happy as I, My summer would last all the year.
I
Dear Lord, if indeed I am Thine, If Thou art my sun and my song,
Say, why do I languish and pine? And why are my winters so long?
I
Oh, drive these dark clouds from the sky, Thy soul-cheering presence restore;
Or take me to Thee up on high, Where wit:tter an(J clouds are no morti.

The powers of death have done their worst, but Christ their le dispersed: Let shouts of holy joy outburst. Alleluia!
I
The three sad days are quickly sped, He rises glorious from the dead; All glory to our risen Head! Alleluia!
I
He closed the yawning gates of hell, the bars from heaven's high portals fell; Let hymns of praise his triumph tell. Alleluia!
I
Lord! By the straps which wounded Thee, From death's dread sting, Thy servants free, That we may live and sing to thee, Alleluia! Amen.

HYMN:
"GUIDE ME 0 THOU GREAT JEHOVAH"
I
Guide me, 0 thou great Jehovah, Pilgrim through this barren land; I am weak, but Thou-art mighty; Hold me with Thy powerful hand;
I
Strong deliverer, strong deliverer, Be Thou still my strength and shield.
I
Open now the crystal fountain, whence the healing stream doth flow;
Let the fiery cloudy pillar, Lead me all my journey through: Bread of Heaven, bread of Heaven, feed me now and evermore.
I
When I tread the verge of Jordan, Bid my anxious fears subside; Bear me through the swelling current, Land me safe on Canaan's side:
I
Songs of praises, songs of praises, I will ever give to Thee.

good&mithful servunt.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, fro m whence cometh my
help. My help cometh from the LORD , which
made heaven and earth.....The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalm 121
The Clock OfLife
"The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power To tell just when the hands will stop At late
or early hour.
To lose one's wealth is sad indeed. Too lose one's health is more. To lose one's soul is such a loss That no man can
restore."
Today, only is our own. So live, love and toil with a will. Place no faith in tommorrow,
For the clock may soon be still.
