Mr. Willie joe Gamble, Sr. was born April 20, 1926 in Talbot County to the late Rev. Willie Henry, and Carrie Lou Gamble.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Mattie Lee Hall Gamble to this union 4 children were born.
He moved to Hogansville, Ga. in 1964 where he became a member of St. Paul A. M. E. Church and a member of Rising Star #5.
He leaves to mourn his passing a mother Carrie L. Gamble, a wife, Mattie Gamble, four children, Willie joe, Grover, Carolyn, and Phillip and twelve grandchildren, eight great grand children, one sister, Annie R. Cooper (Brother-in-law) Willie Cooper, two brothers, Samuel Gamble, (Sister-in-law) Ann Gamble, Thomas Gamble, uncle, julius C. Owens, Akron, Oh., aunts, Willie j. Terry, Springgarden, NY., Sara Copeland, Toledo, Oh, Maudie B. Terry, Woodland, Ga., a devoted loving friend, Mrs. Lola Barnes and family, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
