- Byron Hicky recounts his WWII experiences as a Navy and Marine medic in the Fleet Marine Force participating in Pacific Theater, primarily in Guam in the 6th Marine Division. He stayed in the service and lived in Japan for three years following the end of the war. Funding for the SWGRL WWII Veterans Project provided by the Thomas M. and Irene B. Kirbo Charitable Trust.
