- Ken Markham recounts his WWII experiences as a member of Darby's Rangers, an elite fighting unit, with missions in North Africa, and fighting in the battles of Sicily, Salerno and Anzio in Italy. He was captured, escaped in Italy en route to prison in Munich, was re-captured, and spent prison time in Munich and Berlin until the end of the war in Europe.
