- Postcard (color, divided back, 3 ½ x 5 ½ inches) titled From Early Drawings of Kate Greenaway – This postcard features artwork by Kate Greenaway, an English watercolorist noted for her drawings of children, young girls, landscapes and flowers. Many experts give her credit for setting the style of childrens’ dress from her drawings. Her early death at age 55 in 1846 before the postcard craze came, limits the number of her signed cards in the collecting field. No descriptive text on reverse. Printed in Hong Kong.
