- Postcard (color, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled Clan MacArthur – The card features the Arms (badge) and Tartan of the clan, a list of Septs and Dependents entitled to use the MacArthur Tartan, along with a depiction of a clansman in full dress. The clan badge is wild myrtle. Clan Arthur or Clan MacArthur is a highland Scottish clan that once held lands on the shores of Loch Awe opposite Inishail. The clan has been described as one of the oldest clans in Argyll. - No text on reverse. Postage required: Inland ½d. Foreign 1d. *Note: W & AK Johnson produced many postcards. This partnership was originally a printing business from 1825, run by the printer William Johnston and the Queen's Geographer, Alex Keith Johnston. William Johnston was a noted cartographer.
